If you thought it was dangerous being a driver on the road nowadays, try being a pedestrian. Every year over 6,000 pedestrians are killed while another 90, 000 are seriously injured. This means that, statistically speaking, a pedestrian is being struck every 5 minutes by a negligent driver. Many of these casualties will result in a fatality, leaving loved ones in mourning and at a loss of where to turn.

If you ride a motorcycle regularly you are already familiar with some of the common misconceptions that people have about bikers. The biggest stereotype is that they are all a bunch of lawless banditos with little regard for the law or safety. Statistically speaking this is a fallacy as a great majority of bikers obey the law, in fact, over 2/3rd’s of motorcycle accidents are the fault of passenger car drivers.

The policeman also said filing a report was not necessary.The man assessed the damage, figured it wasn't a big deal and agreed.The driver of the other car and my friend exchanged numbers and both went on their way.
